My favorite time of the year. The fun part is that I am no longer a bleeding purple kind of guy any more. They have ripped my heart out and stomped on it way to much to get my hopes up. Not my allegiance is only with my fantasy team and who I am placing bets on.
I have 2 money leagues this year and one all important free work league. I also signed up for some pickem leagues since I am not planning on putting any bets on Bodog this year. We shall see how I do.
First up is the keeper league next Saturday. I am in good shape in it. You can keep players forever and you lose the pick in which you drafted them. Rounds 1-3 are never kept. Nothing like having Michael Turner as a 16th round pick. I made specific plans 2 years ago to draft him knowing he would be a future stud. Came out smelling like roses so far on that one.
Reading about your poker bad beats is so much more entertaining.
